Charlotte Eros has been with Woodstock Antiques since their
beginning almost 5 years ago. A long time antique collector, as
Charlotte points out, "you just run out of room to put them all in
your home". Being an antique dealer allows her to share her
love and knowledge of antiques. Charlotte specializes
in antique lighting; the light of her chandeliers and lamps cast a warm
glow on her corner of the store. She also carries a variety of items
in her booth from porcelain to furniture to primitives. And her
booth is always changing as Charlotte finds new
treasures to share with customers of Woodstock Antiques.
Talking with Charlotte about antiques is always delightfully entertaining and informative. Her favorite treasure hunt story involves finding a tiny spoon in the drawer of a dresser at a yard sale. She purchased it for 25 cents! After careful cleaning and research, she determined it to be a genuine antique sterling silver English tea caddy spoon worth $225. What a find! Drop by Charlotte's Closet on your next visit to Woodstock Antiques to see what new treasures she's found for you! |

Kirkland partners with Charlotte on Charlotte's Closet. As Jim puts
it, he's "labor to Charlotte's management"! Jim has
collected Blue Ridge China, Salt and Pepper Shakers, and Marilyn Monroe
memorabilia in the past. Now he's content to find treasures for
others.
Jim is an accomplished wood craftsman, knowing how to repair a piece to best keep its integrity and value. Get Jim talking about repairing and preserving antiques and he comes to life. Ask him about the Oak Caning Chairs that he rescued. They were practically in pieces, but Jim patiently worked with the set and was able to save 5 of the 6. Jim is also a master at painting an antique that has been neglected to give it that shabby chic English country look. Look for Jim in the aisles for his expert opinions on furniture. |
